Shannon Consultants offers the industry a unique combination of professional sales people and industry experts. Our customer base is comprised of independents, regional and national chains, museums, mail order catalogs, and department stores. Our network of high quality individuals are known for their commitment to service, their attention to detail, and for providing professional assistance to retailers and strong sales opportunities to suppliers. Shannon Consultants representatives provide editorial opinion on what merchandise is on trend, and what product development effort must be undertaken to provide the customer with exactly what they are looking for. Shannon Consultants has leveraged our deep knowledge of buying organizations, manufacturers, demographics, customer service, planning, and logistics to become one of the largest operations in existence. Our success is measured in the gross margins, which are at the high end of the gift industry. In addition to a professional, and experienced road sales-force, Shannon Consultants has a management team with over 50 years of experience in the Gift and Home Decor Industry. Our management team is comprised of two top sales and marketing experts with diversified backgrounds and expertise who continue to manage a sales territory in order to keep current with our ever-changing industry.


Michael T. Cassidy, President

Mr. Cassidy has been part of the Shannon Team since 1985. He has sold close to 500 product lines and consistently ranks among the top three sales producers in the country. Mr. Cassidy was a co-founder of GifTrader, Inc., a start-up company formed to create a digital marketplace focused on the $54 billion gift and home decor market. In this role he successfully gained funding commitment and contracts with dozens of major vendors in the gift industry. Prior to founding GifTrader, he helped establish one of the first national sales forces in the gift industry and directed the development of order entry software that enables our road sales force to use laptop computers to more efficiently sell product lines and manage their territories. Mr. Cassidy implemented and monitors our innovative training program for our sales professionals. Mr. Cassidy’s present duties include guiding the daily operation of Shannon Consultants, Inc.


Joe McCrudden, Managing Partner

Mr. McCrudden has been with Shannon Consultants since 1988 and has consistently been one of the top producers in the company. In addition to maintaining a profitable sales territory, Mr. McCrudden is responsible for pursuing partnerships with select vendors. Mr. McCrudden then works closely with our partners to develop sales policies and programs to ensure a mutually profitable and successful relationship. Once a vendor is established with Shannon Consultants, Inc., Mr. McCrudden educates and trains our sales representatives to be sure that they hit the ground running. Mr. McCrudden then monitors sales production to ensure that all of our sales people are maximizing the sales opportunities for all of our vendors.
